SAMON

Samon is a popular Iraqi bread. It is a type of pocket bread, but it's thicker and chewier than pita. Traditionally, it's shaped into a diamond. The yeast bread is often split open, longwise, and stuffed with cheese, falafel, shawarma meats or other sandwich makings.
